TGIF

Wow...TGIF... I have not been glad its Friday and about 2 years!  I am going to enjoy my first of many weekend off this weekend! I am soo excited about spending it with the hubby and family!  So yay for the weekend!!! MAN, it feels good to say that!  I have been slacking on blogging this week.  You see, for the past 2 months, I have been only working the weekend and having M-F off...and not waking up until after 10am. Well, this week I started my new job...I have to be here at 6:30am!! AGH! I have been busting it, getting up early and trying to get in bed at a good hour! So, nonetheless, I have been tired/working/lazy/haveamillionotherthingsonmytodolist!

I am going to run 5 miles today.  I hope this time is easier than last time.  I got a new HR monitor yesterday! Ethan bought me one for my birthday back in November, I picked it out and he got it for me.  Well, it DID NOT read my HR correctly! It DID NOT calculate the correct number of calories! Just an fyi...This is the one that I had...it SUCKS!  This is the one I have now and I am about to find out if the man at REI was correct in saying this is the best one for my $100 budget!

I had an interesting conversation with some people the other day about what I do.  Well, I talked a little about it here. And referenced this, if you want more info.  I treat patients that have cancer with radiation.  And during this conversation with these friends, I realized something. Almost every time I talk about what I do to someone, they say, "oh my goodness, that must be really hard having to see those patients."  I usually think to my self noo... But It hit me the other night... I am doing what I have been called to do by Jesus. I love caring for people. I love caring for people with cancer.  They are some of the best patients you could ever ask for, and I love every minute of it. It makes my heart happy!

And please forgive my blog right now, I'm on the waiting list for it to be made over! But, for now, I'm hoping your reading it in reader! hehe..
