micellany monday

1. this is what your computer looks like when your 50lb english bulldog tries to jump on top of it. so, be warned now, this post will have no caps. i lost my shift button in the shuffle of emma being a wild woman. we want to buy a mac...just not ready to fork over the cash right now.

2. worked my last weekend this saturday. it was bittersweet.  i have worked at that hospital since i was 18. i knew a lot of people that worked there. its crazy, when your there doing it... every weekend, hating it, wanting to go to church, wanting to go to the movies with your husband and married couple friends, missing out on all that fun... but when its time to move on, it kind of hits you hard. interesting the way that is. i am thankful that i am blessed with such wonderful people around me. and i am looking forward to what the future holds for this house.

3. ran hard last week. real hard. i ran 5 miles on friday!! yeah, you read that right..5 miles!!! i can hardly believe it.. it took all i had. really. on the last mile i was struggling. really struggling on how i was going to keep running. then, i thought about libby. all that she has gone through with cancer. all that she has struggled with. and suddenly, my running wasn't as difficult. i ran for jesus. i ran for healing for libby. i prayed. it was great. got done and felt amazing, super sweaty, but amazing!

hope to be back tomorrow with a more interesting post.

happy monday.

I feel so bad for your computer! I am constantly getting our dogs off of things so it is probably only a matter of time until that happens to mine! I agree with you about getting a Mac--I'll never go back! :)

I am so inspired to keep reading your posts about running. I was inspired before, but I am even more so now that you are running for a friend.

I am so glad you get to go to church now and spend time at home in the evenings--what are you going to do with all of that fun time? :)
