seven kinds of wonderful!

Today is a HAPPY DAY!!

1. Our computer keyboard is FIXED!! Hallelujah! A HUUGE thank you goes to Amy's husband Bryan.  He has saved our ole Dell more than needs to be mentioned.  I owe them a date night or few... Thanks again Bryan! So glad my best friend married such a sweet guy that knows computers!

2.  Ran another 5 miles on Friday! And you wanna know what?! this time was easier! YEAH. I said a little prayer before I ran...God please give me strength to do this..I need to do this. for Libby. for me. for Jesus. And it was pretty awesome. I ran 4.5 mi yesterday, gonna run 5 tomorrow and 6 on Friday. 13.1 here we come!

3. Went to the Biltmore this weekend.  We took a road trip with Ethan's brother Evan and twin sister Camille to Ashville, NC and met Ethan's lovely mother at the Biltmore.  We had a fun filled day enjoying each other.  {pictures and stuff in a later post}

4.  Emma went to the vet today and no more mange. YAY! She is still going to have to be on the medicine but, in 3 more weeks she will be off of the medicine and mange free! Also, we had a conversation about "fixing" her.  We are not going to breed her, and we are under debate on when to get her fixed.  Some say wait until after 1st heat cycle and some say don't let them have a heat cycle.  Any insight from you pet lovers/owners out there?

5. It is such a nice day outside...it makes me want to sit out there and stare straight at the sun.  It is amazing how much you enjoy the sun when it has been winter for 4 months. crazy. just crazy.

6.  I totally KICKED my to-do list's butt!  I had soo much to do, last night at dinner Ethan kept asking me what was wrong..I was like nothing?..why?...he said, well your acting weird and your not talking at all! I get that way when I have a lot on my mind or am overwhelmed.  BUT, today I did it! I kicked that list's bootay...yay go me!

7.  I am an official runner in the Music City Half Marathon. yep. i did it. i signed up today! I am soo excited about it...really nervous, but verrry excited! Mostly, I cant wait to meet all the people running for Team Libby and most of all...Libby herself!

Happy Tuesday friends!

Speaking from experience, go ahead and fix that puppy soon. It is so gross and irritating. We had Marleys appt scheduled and then she went into heat the day before. So Gross and she was so embarrassed. She did so well with getting fixed and didn't act too sore, she acted worse when she was in heat. I don't have any medical knowledge of what is best, just personal experience.

i know that when she goes into heat it will be gross and I completely understand you not wanting to deal with that... BUT you need to talk with your vet about her growth plates and make sure that they are closed before you fix her... she won't grow right if you do it before the growth plates close. It will be worth it in the end when her head isn't too small or something weird like that. Your vet may disagree with me and if so do whatever he says, but that is our experience in the past... <3

I've only owned male animals so I have no experience with girls! For boys it's so easy--they just have to be six months old! I cannot believe that you are running five miles and that it's getting easier! You go, girl! I am beyond impressed. I can't wait to see pictures of the Biltmore! I loooove reading about it, but I've never visited!!
