We have had a good week catching up with all Ethan's siblings, nephews, parents, and on sleep. We shopped till we dropped. We went to see Tron 3D, which I actually liked. Emma did not have ONE potty accident while we were there. So, I would say it was a great week!

Now for a photo recap of 2010!
In January, we spent Christmas with the my family in here in TN. Then the week after Christmas, we brought in the New Year with Ethan's family in NC. A very busy holiday time, but very well worth it, since we got to spend time with the lovely families we have.
In February, we got a new Toyota Tacoma, when my old faithful high shcool/college vehicle VW Beetle died. Well, pretty much died, we spent a fortune trying to fix it. Then finally decided it would be better worth our penny to buy another vehicle. Ethan would need a truck eventually, so we traded our VW for the Tacoma. And are very happy with the truck!
Ethan went on the annual ski trip with our youth group this year. In 2009 we went skiing with some friends, at a place in Indiana. We let our youth pastor know how nice it was, and viola! That’s where they went! I think he had a really good time!
We went to dinner with Ethan's sister Camille and her then new boyfriend Nat. It was his birthday, and we enjoyed an awesome Italian cuisine.
In April, I went to Chicago with my Radiation Therapy class. There is a convention held there annually to help the students prepare for their board exam. It was a really great convention; I think I took in lots of good information. While we were in Chicago, we went to The Second City comedy club, shopped till we dropped on Michigan Ave., and did lots of sight seeing. We had such a good time laughing and enjoying Chicago. It was my first time there, Ethan and I will have to take a trip there!
My classmate Haley and I ... loving some mimosas!
My class and my two teachers.

About to leave the convention...go figure, i'm the only one without my matching jacket.
In June, we went camping with our life group from church. We camped by the lake. One of the couples brought their boat, so we were able to take it out on the lake and get some sun. We had a really good time with some great people!
In August, I graduated from the Radiation Therapy Program. I have to mention, I was voted “Student of the Year”, I was surprised and thankful. (Even though there were only 4 students in all) After graduation I accepted a “shared staffing” position in Radiation Therapy at "sister" Cancer Center.
In September, we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. On Labor Day, we braved some white water rapids with the my family.
At the end of the month we went to Georgia to pick up our new addition, an English Bulldog, we named her Emma Bear Thon. She has been such the adventure since we brought her home. We are thoroughly enjoying her.

In the beginning of October I passed my Radiation Therapy Boards! Let me tell you, that was such a weight lifted! It is still hard to believe I am done with school! From the very beginning I knew I wanted to do Therapy and now I am actually doing it! I get to go to work and love on patients that have cancer and show them God’s love. It really is a blessing. At the end of the month, Ethan, Emma, and I all went to the mountains and stayed in a cabin for a week. The relaxation was more than needed. We had the best time sight seeing, eating at local restaurants, hot tubbing, and enjoying the beautiful Fall scenery.
Also in October... I started blogging!! YAY!
In November we went camping with Ethan's sister, Nicole, Paul, and their boys. Those boys are growing so fast! They are just the sweetest. They are at the age where they want to help do anything or be in on everything. They even helped us put away our tent. I know Ethan loved every minute of it! We hosted Thanksgiving at our place again this year, we enjoyed both sides of the family for some delicious food.
In December, We found the house we are now moving into. I went to see the Rockettes with some lovely ladys in my family.
Well, this has been a very long post. Hope you have enjoyed reading about our year in review! Have you posted about how your 2010 went? Let me know!
