And I am currently thoughtless.
So, I am linking up with Mrs. Fulmer.
Yesterday I took Emma to the vet. Her "yeast" infection on her face has not been getting better. And these weird spots have been appearing on random places all over her. So, the vet did some scrapings on each spot. He looked at it under the microscope and told me it was Dermodectic Mange. I was relieved to hear that it is very treatable with some oral medication. However, the vet was hesitant to tell me the diagnosis because he thought we were planning on breeding Emma. Apparently this mange is hereditary. And if the mother has it the litter will have it. So, it was frustrating to know that Emma's mother had this and the breeders still bread her.
this is the spot on her leg they scraped
and her poor wrinkle they scraped
She was a trooper. I am looking forward to her being completely better.
Happy Thursday! I am looking forward to watching some Grey's and Private Practice!

Poor Emma! Bless her heart! I hope those spots get better soon!
Poor Emma! I heard those types of dogs have lots of health issues. It seems like by reading all about Emma, what I heard was right! Hope she gets to feeling better soon! Oh and I love Grey's and PP too. What was up with the new show blocking PP? I kept watching hoping it would stop and start PP.
