Great Teachers

I have failed to blog regularly. Well, as much as I would like to anyway.  I could go into more detail on how life is jam-packed full of things right now, but I really don't want to.  I will just say that I am still loving my job.  I am running about 4 times a week and 3 times I get up in the weeee hours of the morning and run with my co-worker that just so happens to live about 5 minutes down the road from us.  I just finished our Christmas cards and letter and mailed them out this morning.  It's a busy time, but we are loving it.

Back to my title: Great Teachers.

As we sat in church and listened to our Pastors sermon I got to thinking about what he was saying.  The sermon was on Christ followers and where should we be in our walk.  I also was thinking about the post Amy @ Chapters, wrote that was somewhat similar to this topic.  Keeping up with my devotional time has been a constant struggle for the past few months.  There seems to be something always, always, in the way.  Or some excuse always seems good enough.. if I could just be done cleaning the house, as soon as I'm done with my school work, as soon as I cook dinner.  Its always been a struggle.  One of the Bible verses that was mentioned at church was

Matthew 16:24
"Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and come follow me.

I don't know about you, but I am ready to pick up my cross and follow Him!
