Merry Christmas!

This is the most wonderful time of the year!

We have been real busy with the Christmas season.  But we have had a really special Christmas and are so thankful for the friends and family that we have been able to spend time with.

This is the first year we have gotten to attend Behold the Lamb of God with Andrew Peterson and many other amazing Christian artists.  We were amazed at the wonderful performance that really set the stage for what Christmas really is all about!  If you have never been, please GO!

With Christmas comes sweet gifts from sweet friends! And this amazing candle was one of those.

A starbucks gift card was another one of those gifts!  We enjoyed these on the way to my brothers new house to enjoy Christmas with my family last weekend.

Ethan and my brother together doing "guy" things with his new gun I got him! :) He was so surprised! I have never gotten him a real surprise! He has always done so well with surprising me with things that I just love and this year I wanted to do the same with him! And I think I succeeded! He LOVED IT!

lovely bunch of guys I love.

thanks again to the sb gift card, I had a warm, yummy drink in hand as we waited for our flight late Wednesday night.  On our way to sunny Florida to see Ethan's family for Christmas!

Thursday we got to ride a couple hours and see the amazing isles just next to tampa.  It was a fun filled day of lounging by the beach, searching for winning sea shells, and snapping lots of pictures of the beauty in sight. (more pictures of our trip to come)

We have never been to Florida in December.  It has been amazing weather.  Feels so good to soak those feet in the sand.

I have still been running several times a week in the early mornings.  Our runs usually consist of 20 degree weather, gloves, and ear muffs.  My run consisted of the exact opposite on Friday morning.  It was close to 80 degrees and sunny! Running in the warm sun with palm trees just a blowing in the wind was just as amazing as it sounds!

Well folks, I hope you have a Merry Christmas today.  Visit with friends and family, hold them close and love on each and every one.

Signing out... we are going to do communion with our nephews.
Celebrating the Lord Jesus Christ today!
