thankful
This week we celebrated our 3rd Thanksgiving as a married couple. We continued some traditions and started some new ones. It went unbelievably well. I think by the 3rd year we finally have most of the process down!
Old traditions we still got to enjoy...
+ Ethan's parents traveling here from Florida and being with us.+ Ethan's grandparents & aunt traveling here from Oklahoma & Texas.+ Cooking a Turkey.+ Baking yummy pies.+ Decorating for Fall and Thanksgiving.
New traditions made...
+ DIY a Thankful banner... I'm thinking I will DIY a decoration of some sort each holiday.+ Writing each person's name on a piece of paper, pass around a hat and everyone draw a name, then you tell the person that you drew why you are thankful for that person. I saw it online somewhere and wanted to try it this year, and I am so glad I did. It went really well, and it was so fun to see what things each person picked to be thankful about to the person they drew.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I really did, last week I found out that one of my supervisors at my old job passed away after only being diagnosed with Leukemia for one week. It really hit me by surprise. I think that really made me think more about each person in my life and how thankful I am for them. Let them know today, because no one is guaranteed tomorrow.

I love that Thanksgiving tradition! I think everyone would really enjoy hearing why someone is thankful for them also! Did you host Thanksgiving?
