long weekend.

This weekend was filled pretty full with lots of fun things.  I felt so full of love last night as I looked back on our weekend.

Friday night- We had a good time at the wedding rehearsal & dinner. The rehearsal went off without a hitch, I think most people had been in weddings before and it went really well.  For dinner we had BBQ Pork and lots of sides to choose from.. it was goood. We turned in early on Friday, because it was going to be a early morning Saturday.

Saturday- I got up bright and early, got my hair & makeup done, and had some girl time with the bride. I went back to my parents house and had lunch with Ethan and my dad.

Then Ethan and I headed down to the antique shop and got ready with everyone for pictures.  We were so busy with pictures, it went by so fast! It was 6pm before you knew it, and we were watching Crystal and her dad come down the aisle. We had fun celebrating after the wedding, we ate some yummy food, danced, took pictures, and ate cake too.

Ethan's parents were 2 hours away in a town pretty close, moving his sister.  They got finished around 7pm or so and they came to our house to visit.  We got home from the wedding, talked with them for a bit, then we all crashed.

Sunday- We all woke up enjoyed talking over coffee and cereal. (don't judge me) We hung around the house for the morning, I snapped some pictures with my new camera. And then we went to our favorite place to eat, Chuys and introduced it to his family...they love Mexican as much as we do!  We did some shopping and watching movies that afternoon, then his parents left for their long trip home that evening.

Monday- Ethan's sister stayed with us Sunday night and we headed out to my parents house Monday.  We grilled some juicy hamburgers and hotdogs.

We floated in the pool. We got a little toasted by the sun. But most of all, we had a good time.  Around 5pm Ethan and I headed home, we ate leftovers, played with Emma, and watched the first Harry Potter movie. I am too lazy to read the books, and I haven't kept up with watching the movies, so I figure since the last one is about to come out we should refresh and be ready for it!

More pictures to come! With Ethan and I being in the wedding party, we didn't get many pictures with our camera. So as soon as I can steal some from unsuspecting picture takers, I will post them here. :)

Don't you just love long weekends.  I felt like we were able to do so much and it was so nice to be a part of Crystal and Brandon's special day as well as spend some time with Ethan's family on Sunday and my family on Monday! I think all weekends should be 3 days!

Happy Tuesday All!

The books are way better than the movies! You should so read them before you know how the SAGA ends!

Such a cute bridesmaids dress! I like how they were all different--so darling! And, I'm really jealous you got to be in a wedding with your husband!!
