So last week we left on Wednesday night to drive a couple hours away to Ethan's sister's house. We hung out with her and her boyfriend and they took us to the airport Thursday after lunch. We got to the airport at 1:30pm for our 2:30pm flight that did not take off until 3:30pm.

We finally arrived in Florida at 5pm. Ethan's lovely mother picked us up at the airport. As we drove back to their house, Katherine gave us a tour of the area. We got to their house and enjoyed some yummy marinated steaks among lots of other delicious food. And even had strawberry cheesecake for dessert. After dinner we played Phase 10. It is a pretty cool game...we didnt keep score and I think that made it more fun for me.
The next day we got up and went to the beach. It was a nice day. The waves were awesome, even though I didn't get out there much..I was busy working on getting a tan! We left around 1pm and went to eat at a nice little seafood place called Aunt Catfishes...it was sooo good. They have a
On Friday night we went to a little town called Mt. Dora. There were tons of cute little antique shops there, but were mostly closed because we got there after 5pm. We enjoyed eating at this nice place called the Palm Tree Grill...then we got to enjoy this beautiful handywork of God.
After the sunset we stopped by this homemade frozen yogurt place...yummy... I got Chocolate Praline and Ethan got Banana Creme...and we both love some waffle cone pieces as you can tell!
Saturday we woke up early and made it to the beach by 10:30...we enjoyed relaxing and reading and playing in the waves. Around 12:30 we walked down to the pier nearby and enjoyed some more seafood at a place called Crabby Joes. I got a crab cake sandwich...it was gooood. We headed back down to the beach and were bums until around 5pm or so...The sun was hiding behind the clouds a bit, so we went on home and got a pizza. I love some pizza..anytime...anywhere. We played some more Phase 10 where I won!! :)

Sunday we had a nice big breakfast thanks to Ethan's lovely mom, Katherine. We ate and enjoyed each other before packing up and getting to the airport.

We land safely...then we have to drive home in this! I hate absolutely hate being on the interstate in the rain! Plus the fact that we just got home from sunny Florida and had this yucky weather welcoming us.
Emma bear sure did miss her Daddy though! She was so sweet to both of us when we got home. We just love her...don't know what we would do without her.
So all in all...it was a wonderful trip....never is long enough, but we did enjoy our time with everyone.
As I typed all this out I realized that I should have taken waay more pictures! Oh well! Hope you enjoyed the ones I had.
