I feel blessed today because...

Today I am linking up with Natalie over at Extraordinary Love.

I am blessed to have a job.  I really think I take my job for granted on most days because I want so badly to get a full time job in Radiation Therapy.  I have a job in Radiology and I get to work a few days a week in Radiation Therapy, so I am getting my foot in the door and  I am really blessed to have that opportunity.

I am blessed to have such an amazing husband.  He truly is my one love.
This was taken on our honeymoon in Jamaica.
I am blessed to have family coming to our house for Thanksgiving.  I love to cook and I love to spend time with family.  My parents will be joining us, they live close to us.  Ethan's parents are coming in from North Carolina, his grandparents are coming from Oklahoma, his aunt and her boyfriend are coming from Texas.  I am excited to see Ethan's sister and brother, they will be coming from the same university they both attend.

I am blessed to be healthy.  Ethan was sick this weekend, which I absolutely hated because I was at work, and unable to be at home taking care of him.  I hate being sick, or any of my loved ones being sick.  I work in Radiation Oncology and I see cancer patients every day living and dealing with being sick. I am so thankful for health.

I am blessed to have a wonderful Savior.  I am rejoicing in the Lord today.  Ethan and I are praying about our future.  We know God will provide and I am excited about what He has in store for us!  I was reading last night in this awesome devotional book my sister in law gave us back in May.

I am on the 7th chapter, What shall I give to God? This chapter was talking about how God delights in you.  The Bible says, "The Lord your God is with you...He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."
-Zephaniah 3:17

And this really stuck out to me:

"God doesn't need us to serve Him as a means to attain His love or affection.  He wants us to serve Him out of the love and affection He already holds for us in His heart.  If you have never tasted that reality, you cannot imagine freedom that lies ahead of you."

Have a blessed Tuesday night everyone.
