As I sit here typing this I can name off about a thousand things I could be doing instead of blogging! But I wanted to blog before the weekend got a little crazy and time got away from me.
Lets see, where to begin. What have we been up to lately? Well, looking at a handful of houses about two days a week for the past few weeks. Have we found the one? NO! :( But the chase continues! We are torn between an older home and a new home. We like to update things and work on things ourselves, but we don't want to get into a mess with an old home that has no hope. My sweet friend, Anna has been so wonderful in this whole process. Bless her heart for putting up with us! Anyway- this is to be continued after vacation!
Hope you don't mind but here comes a big photo dump :)
My dad and I.... he finally wore his "BC" glasses around me... I asked him what that meant and he said, "Birth Control" glasses... hahah! Too funny if you ask me!
Two weekends ago Camille and I hit the road on Friday night. We made the 5 hour trip to Georgia to visit Ethan's older sister, Nicole and our sweet nephews for the weekend!
Ryker Bear
Maddox
And my little Ethan look alike, Maverick
Seriously are they not the cutest little boys you have ever laid eyes on!? We had so much fun playing with them and skating and loving on them. So glad we went to visit.
I am going to side track here a little. I don't know if I have said lately, but I LOVE my job... And what makes it even more lovable would be the sweet people I work with. I am serious. For example: I got stopped today by one of our nurses, she wanted to tell me to be sure and watch out about posting when we are leaving online because people look at that and break into your house. (Just like my mama would tell me) Another example: I left work in tears today because I just finished praying with one of the ladies, she wanted to make sure and pray with me before I went on my trip. :) I mean oh my goodness. So blessed!
Last weekend was a mixture of a Friday night filled with a fun dinner at Millers Grocery, a really old grocery that is made into a restaurant. They play bluegrass music and serve good ole country cooking...what more could you ask for?! Then we went to our city's Jazz fest. It was a perfect night to go and it was awesome music to hear. Saturday night Ethan and I hit up the local Drive-In movie for the first of many trips this summer. We saw The Avengers. It was awesome!
Tonight Camille and I went to get a manicure and pedicure. It was pretty darn amazing. It was nice to get pampered and have my nails looking good in the end too!
And of course we couldn't end this loonng post without a picture of Emma bear! She is looking mighty lovely lately, wouldn't you agree?! by the way she will be turning TWO in July! Boy, does time fly!
